Headteacher's Welcome to Town Lane Infant School
I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your child to Town Lane Infant School. Our school promotes a warm and friendly environment where all are welcome and the contribution of everyone is accepted and celebrated.
At Town Lane Infant School, we aim to create a happy, caring and respectful ethos in which every child is valued and given the opportunity to reach excellence in every aspect of school life. We have high academic, behavioural, social and cultural expectations and standards. Consequently, we are extremely proud of the achievements and behaviour of our hard-working children. We strive to offer the best education possible for all our children and our purpose is to promote a desire for lifelong learning. This is achieved in partnership with parents and carers, our staff ,Governors, Trustees and the wider community. Our parents play a vital role in their child’s educational journey and we encourage and value close links between home and school. We view this partnership as crucial in order for each child to make the most of the opportunities provided for them during their time at Town Lane Infant School.
In our school, children develop their self confidence and independence as learners. We teach them to respect and value each other and support them to learn how to act positively in school and beyond.
We offer children exciting and interesting learning opportunities and experiences and our stimulating curriculum promotes creativity, collaboration and fun.

What our School Offers
Before and After School Club
Our before and after school club is run by Firbobs and more information regarding Firbobs can be found by visiting https://www.firbobsclubs.com/
The Firbobs base is located in the old Children's Centre part of the school. They have access, at times, to the hall and the outdoor play areas at the back of the school. Outside, they have lots of fantastic equipment to support physical play, whilst indoors they have games and craft activities in abundance. They promote free choice so our children are able to choose what activities they do each night.
Breakfast Club Opens at 7.45am until the start of the school day - £4.95 per child per day.
After School Club closes at 5.30pm - £9.90 per child per day.
Quality Lunches

Extra Curricular Clubs
We run various clubs for children during the school year including physical, creative and scientific clubs.
Nursery Provision
